We Carry Out Electrical Testing & PAT Testing

Homes, offices, shops, factories, churches, schools… there’s no type of premises that doesn’t require electrical testing.  How often this should be done depends on the premises. For example, for domestic premises it’s every ten years; for factories every three. Other premises may require more frequent testing. Any electrical work carried out will come with a certificate of conformity for the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 and BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).

Electrical testing must only be carried out by a competent electrician, who will issue a report on any problems and how urgently they need attended to.

Portable Appliance Testing  (PAT) is an electrical test carried out on all items with a plug that are over one year old. It is recommended that this is carried out annually by a qualified electrician.

Fire Safety & Compliance NI are qualified to carried out both electrical testing and PAT testing.
